Celestial

I sat with my divine counter parts

She said I never needed these wings to be this fly

That I never needed the high to elevate

Only needed to meditate

She reminded me that I was the drummer and the dancer

The mother and the daughter

The water that quenched thirst

The seeker with the wisdom

A broader consciousness

The father and the scholar

The inner child disguised in ego

She said it was okay to die inside only to be born again

To put down the weapons and surrender

She reminded me that it was okay to lose my thorns

To mourn the contrast

To lose the contacts

Bruises fade

A blessing in disguise

She serenaded me with her song

Let me know that I was the voice and the void

I sat with my divine counter parts

We cried tears of mania

Tears of joy.
